The Client & The Challenge
Vendsyssel Tidendes Fond (Vendsyssel Tidende’s Foundation) is a respected Danish foundation with roots in the Vendsyssel Tidende newspaper. Dedicated to funding cultural, social, and developmental projects within the Vendsyssel region, the foundation needed a significant overhaul to maintain relevance and streamline its administrative processes. The board required a complete redesign of their visual identity and the implementation of a robust, custom digital application system to replace outdated methods.

A Unified Identity and Seamless Digital Experience
Tapas Deluxe delivered a two-pronged solution focused on clarity, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
First, we created a fresh and contemporary visual identity that honors the foundation’s legacy while speaking to a modern audience. This included designing a new, distinctive logo and establishing clear brand guidelines, encompassing specific color palettes and typography, to ensure consistency across all future communications.
Second, we designed and developed a bespoke website solution. The frontend is an intuitive platform where applicants can easily find information and submit requests for funding based on clearly defined criteria and eligible areas. The core of the solution is a powerful backend system empowering the board and administrators, allowing for automatic sorting and categorization of applications, efficient status tracking (e.g., received, in review, approved, rejected), and comprehensive management of grants and processing of all relevant documentation.
